We are delighted to introduce special courses from the School of Global General Education for exchange students.
1) Understanding Korea and International Cooperation (한국과 국제협력의 이해)
Instructor: Byeong Wan LEE
Class Time: Wed & Fri 13:30–14:45
Classroom: B05, Room 123
Course Overview: This course explores how Korea connects to the world through international development and cooperation. Students will learn key concepts (e.g., development theories, indicators such as GDP/HDI, poverty & inequality, sustainable development, globalization) and examine real institutions and cases, including Korea’s global partnerships and soft power (cultural diplomacy, Hallyu).
2) Media Literacy and Contemporary Korean Society (한국사회와 미디어리터러시)
Instructor: Ji-seon Lee
Credits / Type: 3 credits / Liberal Arts
Eligibility: International students only
Class Time: Mon 13:30–14:45 / Thu 12:00–13:15
Classroom: C02, Room 103
Main Topics: Understanding Korean society through major media contents such as news & newspapers, films & dramas, advertisements, and entertainment programs & SNS.
